Green Smoothie Recipe

Makes:

  • Approximately two 12-ounce glasses (24 ounces total)

Ingredients:

  • 1 green apple
  • ~1 cup of green grapes
  • ½ to 1 cup of honeydew melon
  • A big handful of spinach
  • A big handful of kale
  • 1 cup of water

Equipment:

  • Blender (such as Vitamix)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare Ingredients:
    • Chop the green apple into chunks (no need to be small).
    • Gather all other ingredients.
  2. Blend:
    • Add 1 cup of filtered water to the blender.
    • Add approximately 1 cup of green grapes.
    • Add ½ to 1 cup of honeydew melon.
    • Place apple chunks in the blender.
    • Add a big handful each of kale and spinach.
    • Secure the blender lid.
  3. Mix:
    • Start the blender at the lowest setting and gradually increase to high.
    • Blend on high for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Serve:
    • Pour into glasses and enjoy your naturally green smoothie.

Tip:

  • Clean your blender container immediately after use for easy maintenance.
