Over 50g Protein, Low Carb, Berry Smoothie (NO Protein Powder Needed)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup of pasteurized egg whites (26g protein)
  • 2/3 cup of organic Greek yogurt (18g protein)
  • 1 cup of a four-berry blend (raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, and blackberry)
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of hemp hearts (10g protein)
  • Vanilla extract (to taste)
  • Organic cinnamon (about 2 teaspoons, or to taste)
  • 6 to 8 ounces of milk or milk alternative (e.g., raw kefir)
  • 1.5 tablespoons of allulose (or to taste)
  • Optional: additional stevia for extra sweetness
  • Ice cubes and a little water (optional, for thickness and temperature)

Instructions:

  1. Add 1 cup of egg whites to your blender.
  2. Include 2/3 cup of Greek yogurt.
  3. Add 1 cup of the berry blend.
  4. Incorporate 1/2 avocado.
  5. Mix in 2 tablespoons of hemp hearts.
  6. Add vanilla extract to your taste preference.
  7. Sprinkle about 2 teaspoons of cinnamon or adjust to taste.
  8. Pour in 6 to 8 ounces of your preferred milk or milk alternative.
  9. Sweeten with 1.5 tablespoons of allulose, adding more stevia if you desire extra sweetness.
  10. Blend all ingredients to your desired consistency, adding ice cubes and a little water for thickness and to chill the smoothie if preferred.
